Yesterday was a dead day so there was a sense of urgency in completing the project work around the house today. The feelings of lethargy and exhaustion were replaced with drive and enthusiasm, and Jeff and I applied a laser focus on getting it done.
First, we knocked out the flooring in Daniel’s room. If I do say so myself, it came out great.
Then we replaced the faulty sprinkler heads in my front yard, and we wrapped up the day with landscaping and mulch laying. All of this and we were done before 2:00 PM.
I feel bad we missed being productive on Saturday, but I am happy we more than made up for it today. It’s a testament to what you can do when you work with a good partner and you both share the same ambition to just get it done.
