Having been in school the last couple of years, I did not have the time to read much outside the scope of materials and books for my classes. I also did not have much time to work on just writing for pleasure, either.
I just wrapped up The Knife of Never Letting Go: Chaos Walking, the first novel I’ve read in about three years. I then jumped into re-reading my short novel Lives: Volume I, and I’ve got that itch of wanting to write again.
So as I ponder tackling a new writing project, here is a repost from 2010 when a real, bonafide author (D.B Grady) was gracious enough to guest-post on my blog about the mistakes writers make.
Great blog post – I didn’t realize you were a writer until just recently.
Thanks, Linda. I’ve been writing (off and on) since 2004. I found it to be a better and more effective form of therapy than drinking.
